Subluxation

Do you have your spine and nerve system checked for subluxation? Are your children being checked?

Like many words, subluxation has different meanings depending upon usage. In medical terms the word is used to describe displacement of bones that is less than a dislocation. In chiropractic terms, the word describes a situation whereby bones are not in their proper juxtaposition and that misalignment is causing the nerves to not function optimally, sending the messages to and from the brain. Literally, from the Latin roots, the word means "a state of reduced light." This is actually the best meaning of the word. When you have subluxation, your nerves are not functioning optimally, and your light, your health potential is dimmed. Correcting the subluxation enables your nerves to function optimally and for your light, your potential, to shine.

What causes the subluxations? Everything! Emotional, chemical, and physical forces that overwhelm your nerve system cause tension in the meninges of the spinal cord and lead to subluxation. Subluxations are called the "silent killer" because most people are not aware of their subluxations. It often takes a lot of degeneration before anyone (you or the medical doctors) detects a problem. Subluxations are miscommunication between the brain and body and this miscommunication is the cause of all disease. Therefore, it is important to keep your nerve system as healthy as possible. We live in a dirty, high stress world and our systems are overwhelmed several times a day by pollution, eating food with artificial ingredients or genetic modifications (just stop doing that!), drugs, horrible stories on the news, traffic, work, relationships, etc, not to mention the physical stresses. Ok, enough doom and gloom. Get your spine checked at A Better Life Experience regularly so that we can correct those subluxations that are dimming your life force!
